Community safety

How Frendz Live protects the people using it.

Our safety commitment

Frendz Live is for adults. You must be 18 or older to hold an account. We remove accounts that appear to belong to a minor, permanently, and we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities without waiting to be asked.

Live video is the hardest kind of platform to moderate, and we would rather say what we actually do than publish a page of reassurance.

Four layers, running all the time

1. At the door

Registration requires a verified phone number or a linked account and an age declaration. Hosts additionally verify identity with a government-issued document before their first broadcast. Devices associated with a banned account are blocked from re-registering.

2. During the call

Automated systems sample live video and streams for nudity, sexual activity, violence, weapons and self-harm indicators. A positive detection interrupts the session and escalates it to a human reviewer within seconds.

3. On report

Every video, stream, room and profile screen carries a report control. Reports are triaged by severity and reviewed around the clock. Reports involving minors, coercion or credible threats are handled first, always.

4. After the fact

Confirmed violations lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or a permanent ban depending on severity. Serious cases are escalated to law enforcement, and we retain the minimum evidence needed to support that.

Staying safe yourself

Moderation catches a great deal. These habits catch the rest.

  • Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you met on the app — no genuine host will ever ask.
  • Keep conversations on Frendz Live. Moving to another app removes every protection we have built.
  • Do not share your address, workplace, bank details, ID documents or one-time passcodes.
  • Assume anything on camera can be recorded, even though recording is prohibited.
  • Block first, report second. You never owe anyone an explanation for ending a call.
  • If someone threatens to publish images of you, do not pay. Report it to us and to your local police.

Report something to us

In-app reporting is fastest, because it attaches the session context automatically. For anything urgent or outside the app:

Tell us the username, the approximate time, and what happened. We acknowledge safety reports within 24 hours.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

The rules, in full

Our community guidelines set out exactly what is and is not allowed on Frendz Live, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.
