Terms & Conditions

Template notice for the site owner — delete before publishing. This policy is a comprehensive starting point drafted for a live video platform. Replace every [bracketed] placeholder and have it reviewed by a lawyer qualified in your operating jurisdiction.

These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between you and Frendz Live. They cover the app, the Host App and this website. Please read them — particularly the sections on virtual items, acceptable use, and limitation of liability.

By creating an account or using Frendz Live, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old. There is no exception to this.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract in your country of residence.
  • You must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law, and must not be subject to sanctions that would prohibit us from dealing with you.
  • You must not have been previously banned from Frendz Live. Creating a new account to evade a ban is itself a violation.

We may require you to verify your age or identity at any time, and may suspend access until you do.

Your account

  • You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • One person, one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, rented, shared or transferred.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • Tell us immediately at support@frendzlive.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You may close your account at any time from Settings. Closing an account does not entitle you to a refund of unspent virtual items except as set out in the refund policy.

Acceptable use

The full rules are in our community guidelines, which form part of these terms. In summary, you must not:

  • be, or present content involving, anyone under 18 — in any form, in any context;
  • display nudity, sexual activity or sexually explicit content, or solicit it from others;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or incite hatred or violence against any person or group;
  • record, screenshot, screen-capture or redistribute another user’s video, audio or images;
  • impersonate another person, or misrepresent your age, identity or affiliation;
  • advertise, spam, solicit funds, run investment or romance scams, or move users off-platform to defraud them;
  • publish another person’s private information without their consent;
  • use bots, emulators, automation, modified clients, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the service;
  • upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or probe our infrastructure;
  • use the service for anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.

Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of the content you create. To operate the service we need permission to use it, so you grant Frendz Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display and adapt your content solely for the purpose of operating, moderating, securing and promoting the service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for moderation evidence, backups or legal compliance as described in the privacy policy.

You warrant that you own or are licensed to use everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

We do not pre-screen all content, and we are not obliged to. We may remove any content at our discretion where it breaches these terms or the community guidelines.

Virtual items, coins and gifts

  • Frendz Live sells virtual items (coins, gifts and similar in-app goods) that unlock features within the app.
  • Virtual items are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use a digital function. They are not money, not a deposit, not a security, and not property. They have no cash value outside the app.
  • Virtual items cannot be exchanged for cash by users, sold, gifted outside the app’s own gifting feature, or transferred between accounts.
  • Unspent virtual items may expire [24 months] after purchase, or on account closure or termination.
  • We may change the price, availability or function of any virtual item at any time.
  • Purchases are governed by our refund policy.

Host programme

If you are approved as a host, these additional terms apply.

  • Hosts are independent contractors, not employees, agents or partners of Frendz Live. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship.
  • You must complete identity and age verification before your first broadcast, and keep that verification current.
  • Host earnings are calculated from qualifying in-app activity under the rates published in the Host App, settled daily, and paid on the schedule shown in your dashboard, subject to any minimum payout threshold.
  • You are solely responsible for your own taxes, social contributions and any licences your local law requires. We may withhold amounts where law requires it.
  • Earnings generated by fraud, self-dealing, bot activity, chargeback abuse or breach of the community guidelines may be withheld, reversed or forfeited.
  • The Host App may only be obtained from this website. Distributing it, modifying it, or installing it on behalf of an unapproved person is a breach of these terms.
  • Either party may end the host relationship at any time. Verified earnings accrued before termination remain payable unless withheld under the paragraph above.

Moderation, suspension and termination

We may investigate suspected breaches and, at our discretion and proportionate to the severity, issue a warning, restrict features, remove content, suspend an account, withhold earnings, or terminate an account permanently.

Certain conduct results in immediate permanent termination without warning: any content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, credible threats of violence, and coordinated fraud.

Appeals. If you believe a decision was wrong, write to support@frendzlive.com within 30 days with your username and the date of the action. A reviewer who was not involved in the original decision will look at it and respond within [14 days].

We may also suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or the service as a whole, with reasonable notice where practical.

Intellectual property

Frendz Live, the Frendz Live logo, the app interfaces, and all associated software, designs and text are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.

To report copyright infringement, send a notice with the required detail to legal@frendzlive.com. We operate a repeat-infringer termination policy.

Third-party stores and payments

Where you download the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, that store’s terms also apply, and purchases made through the store are processed by the store, not by us. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for the service, but they are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce them against you.

Where you install the Host App as a direct APK from this website, no store terms apply, and you are responsible for enabling installation from this source on your device.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particular match availability, particular earnings for hosts, or that moderation will detect every violation. Other users are not screened for criminal history. You interact with them at your own risk, and you should read our safety guidance before you do.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frendz Live and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, however caused.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the [12 months] before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) [USD 100].

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frendz Live and its officers, employees and suppliers against any claim, liability, damage, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms, the community guidelines or any applicable law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [India], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of [Jaipur, Rajasthan] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EEA or UK, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact legal@frendzlive.com so we can try to resolve the matter. Most disputes are settled far faster this way.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The “last updated” date shows the current version. For material changes we will give at least [30 days] notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the amended terms; if you do not accept them, close your account before that date.

General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, the community guidelines, the privacy policy, the cookie policy and the refund policy are the entire agreement between us.
  • Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
  • Language. Where these terms are translated, the English version prevails in the event of conflict.
